Our Honorees

Myrna and Senator Ben Cardin

We say with great pride and joy that we are part of a multi-generational family here at Beth Tfiloh. Certainly, when our grandparents and parents moved to Ashburton and Forest Park and joined a synagogue named Beth Tfiloh, they had no idea that they created a legacy that continues to this day.

Since then, we’ve celebrated weddings and b’nei mitzvot; we’ve prayed together for Shabbat services, the High Holidays and the daily minyan.  Many of us attended the day camp, learning sessions and dressed up in ridiculous costumes for Purim! We’ve volunteered at Beth Tfiloh school, chaired events and, as a united BT family, stood in solidarity to support Israel.

Perhaps the most important part of our grandparents’ legacy is that we can proudly say that many of their grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren have attended Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School.

This source of pride is also a testament to the foresight of school and synagogue leadership, recognizing early on that children are the future. Every Beth Tfiloh student is provided with an exceptional Jewish and general studies education as if the future depends on it…because it does.

We are humbled by this honor and look forward to celebrating scholarship at Beth Tfiloh with you.
